Q1: How quickly can you install a portable bathroom?

Usually within a few hours, once we assess your site. We service all Melbourne suburbs and regional Victoria and can often arrange same-week installation.

Q2: Do I need special plumbing or power connections?

We need access to a sewer point outside the home also known as an Overflow relief grate or gully trap by some. The equipment require a standard 10 amp power outlet close by to where the unit is installed to avoid the need of running power extension leads.

Q3: Can you install ramps for wheelchair access?

The CarePort comes standard with the equipment and the larger pod units will have level access provided at the time of quoting whether that is in a form of a ramp or a platform. This will be discussed with the occupational therapist when quoting.

Q4: How much does portable bathroom hire cost?

The hire costs vary between the various models and also the distance to the address where the unit is required to be installed. This is outlined in the quotation.

Q5: What if I'm in a rental property?

The portable bathrooms are installed in rental properties and there is no changes made to the home so generally landlords do not need to be advised due to this fact however it is good practice to advise the agent so it is on their records.

Q6: How long can I hire a portable bathroom and is hire to buy available?

Hire periods are flexible, from short-term to longer use. We also offer a hire to buy option so you can keep the bathroom once the hire period ends. Contact us for more details.

Many participants are eligible if the bathroom is considered a reasonable and necessary support. We provide detailed quotes and work with your support coordinator or occupational therapist to ensure the paperwork is complete for submission.

Yes. Our team ensures your bathroom remains safe, fully functional, and hygienic throughout the hire period.

Q2: What happens when the hire period ends?

At the end of the hire period, we can arrange prompt pickup and removal of the unit, or if you prefer, you may choose to purchase the unit under our hire-to-buy option. We ensure the site is left tidy and safe for the property owner or occupant.
