We understand the importance of supporting unrestricted mobility when using bathroom facilities, and we’ve designed the HygeiaPod with accessible features and compliance in mind to make everyday life easier.
Whether you’re continuing to live at home during renovations or returning from hospital or care, the HygeiaPod allows you to enjoy full access to safe and private bathroom facilities at home.
All HygeiaPods come fitted with the necessary adaptations to make toileting and showering easier for people with physical challenges. The unit is safe, hygienic, easy to clean, and fully compliant with Australian plumbing and electrical standards. It includes a self-contained, thermostat-controlled hot water system.
HygeiaPod does not feature a pop-up roof like the AccessPod, which means it may not be suitable for installation in garages with low roller doors. However, if the head height of the garage exceeds the fixed unit height of 2360 mm, indoor installation is still be possible. Ideally, the HygeiaPod is best suited to outdoor use or under cover in areas with sufficient clearance.
